Mads - Eight Months

Mads is Eight months old, I can't even believe what I am writing! Time is just flying by, I want it to slow down; I feel like it was just yesterday she was a newborn. These past months have been the best of my entire life. Watching Mads grow and develop is so incredible, I'll never get bored of it.

19 pounds of pure cuteness, I mean look at that face, C'mon.

She is crawling EVERYWHERE, which makes it hard to keep an eye on her, so Mom and Dad always have to be on their toes. Never a dull moment.

Pulling herself up started a few days ago, and it scared me so much! I just can see all the falling that is about to start happening. So I stand behind her,  hovering, just incase! Plus, I am so paranoid it helps ease my stress.

"Mama" "Dada" "Bob" those are the three words she can say. Mama was the first word, and I am over the moon about that, she said her first word a few months ago, but I am catching you guys up! Also, she says Bob because that's what I call my younger sister, so that's what we call her.

Four teeth. Yup, you read that right. This past month her two top teeth came in, teething is rough but, manageable. Her teething toys help a lot, and she tries to eat our fingers, I don't think she quite yet realizes how sharp her teeth are, ouch.

Eating food! We started on some purees, but we are slowing into BLW and it is working a lot for us! She's learning to chew a lot better, and it's helping her learn. We are finding this to be more successful than eating just purees.

No longer uses her baby bath, she sits in the bathtub like a big girl. Which again, scares the hell out of me, but she enjoys this better & I feel like it makes bath time WAY more enjoyable.

Sleeps through the whole night, 11pm-6am. It's been like this since she was born, but we are slowly getting her to go to bed earlier. We co-sleep, so that makes it a little more difficult. If you have any crib training tips let me know, we are starting to make her sleep in there.

Baths - When dad & mom get home from work - Feeding herself with her spoon - Playing with the wipes case and the Xbox controller - Everything that's not her toys (I'm not kidding)

When Mom & Dad aren't in the room - Other people feeding her - Diaper changes - Putting clothes on (If it was up to her she would be naked 24/7)

Also, peep those front teeth, so cute! Her smile just gets cuter and cuter everyday. She is growing and blossoming into such a beautiful person. Madalynne radiates happiness, it's crazy. You can't be anything but happy when you are around her. It's amazing.

I am so lucky and blessed to be this EIGHT MONTH olds Mama. Can't wait to watch you grow even more!
